Frequently Asked Wedding Photography Questions

​At High & Wild Wedding Photography we have over a decade of experience working with happy couples on their wedding day. As a result, we get asked a lot of similar questions by our clients, so we thought we’d compile a list of your burning wedding photography questions, so you always know where to come if you aren’t sure of something.
What is your photography style?
We aim to capture natural, informal and creative shots of your wedding day in a storytelling style, striving to tell the story of the day and the love shared by you and your family and friends.

Do you take traditional wedding photos?
Whilst our style is typically more relaxed, we know that the traditional wedding photos of the wedding party and groups of family members are still loved by many couples, so we are more than happy to provide this on the day. It’s a good idea to prepare a list of family shots you would like to capture so that we don’t miss anyone!

What are your rates?

How much is the deposit?
The deposit is payable at the time of booking and is £300. The final balance is due 3 months before your wedding date.

Do you have any travel costs?
We include travel up to an hour away from Drumnadrochit, but love to travel all over for weddings. If your wedding is a long way from where we are based, we may need overnight accommodation due to the long hours of a wedding day. We will need to look into these costs on a case by case basis and this will be done at the time of booking. For overseas weddings, flight costs and appropriate accommodation will need to be taken into account also.
What services do you offer?
All of our weddings include all of your images provided on a USB and on online gallery, we can also design beautiful hand made albums, please see our albums page and let us know if you would like this as part of you wedding photography package.

How much time do we get with you?
When considering a photographer for your wedding day, there’s no doubt that you’ll want to ensure that they’re there to capture all the best bits. At High & Wild Wedding Photography we know how important every single detail is which is why we don’t limit you to a certain amount of hours.
When you book with us, you will get a pre-wedding meeting at the venue (or online depending on distance) with me to discuss your requirements. Then on the day itself, we will be there to see the wedding party getting ready, as well as staying right through to your first dance.

How long until we see the images after the wedding?
We do our very best to provide your edited wedding photographs within 6 weeks of the wedding. At certain times of the year, mainly during summer, things can get very busy so the waiting time may be a little longer.

Can I share my images with friends and family?
Absolutely – and we encourage you to do so! You will have a USB with all of your images and you’ll be able to share these as you wish.

Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have full public liability insurance.
